Salt Lake County, Utah
Salt Lake County fills the Salt Lake Valley, with the Oquirrh Mountains to the west and the Wasatch Range to the east. Salt Lake City, the state capital, is the county seat and the largest city.
It's the most populated county in Utah, and it hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics. Seven streams come down from the mountains into the valley, and the canyons on the east side are close to most of the valley.
