Cache County is on Utah's north edge, bordering Idaho. Logan is the county seat and the largest city, and it's the main campus of Utah State University.

Cache Valley sits between the Wellsville Mountains on the west and the Bear River Mountains on the east, and the Bear River flows right through it. The highest point is Naomi Peak at 9,979 feet.

Hyrum State Park

A state park and reservoir in Hyrum.

Farm and dairy roots

Cache County is still the state's leader in dairy products. Richmond's Black & White Days has the nation's longest-running dairy show, going since 1912.

Town celebrations

Almost every town has a yearly celebration. Millville's May Day dates back to 1862, and the county puts on the Cache County Fair and Rodeo.

Utah State University

USU's main campus is in Logan.
